Herbst - Autumn

Es ist soweit. Der Herbst naht mit Riesenschritten ... morgens ist es kühl und neblig, die Autoscheiben sind beschlagen (ich brauche neue Scheibenwischer ... ), es wird ziemlich früh dunkel und letzte Nacht war mir so kalt, dass ich vorhin mein Bett auf "Winterschlaf" umgerüstet habe. Die dünne Patchworkdecke wird gewaschen und im Schrank verstaut und ab heute Abend kuschel´ ich mich in mein dickes Winterbett und in die Frottéebettwäsche.
Und die Thermoskanne für den abendlichen Roibushtee hatte ja eigentlich nie wirklich Sommerpause ...

Now we are at a point where the autumn comes ... the mornings are chilly and foggy, the carwindscreens are steamy (I need new wipers!), the nights come quite soon and grew cold. Today I modified my bed into a winterbed ... the thin quilt hibernates in the cupboard and henceforth I sleep with my thick blanket.
And the thermos jug for the evening roibushtea had not really a summer break ...
